I’m mostly concerned about the soot given off by the candles.

I was wondering if anyone knew why non-drip candles don’t drip? Are they made with special ingredients?Or maybe the process of making them is different? Thanks!

I LOVE Yankee Candles b/c the scents are so good and strong plus the throw is great. However, I hate the black soot it collects around the inside of the jars after being burned. Any suggestions?

i need a candle that not only smells good while it is NOT burning, but makes the entire house smell good while it IS burning. I have a 20-30ft. open staircase, so it needs to be a very strong but light sented candle. I do have partylite candles, walmart brand candles, and none seem to be working the way i want them to. I am also very concious about leaving them burn too long. a few yrs ago, we lived in a apt. complex and the idot next door to us let her kids play around a candle, the candle got knocked over and onto a electrical outlet and well, the fire started there and caught our place too. So, i need something that smells up the house quickly. Thanks so much!

i am just wondering what ones do because i have one ot those candle warmers and the instructions say specifically NO vegetable-based wax candles because they might explode apparentally. so i was wondering does anyone know 100% what candle brands i shouldn’t use on it because i would rather not be the reason for a candle to explode and get in lots of trouble by my parents

Every time without fail there are rows of candles placed around the newly made-over abode. Having transformed a mediocre semi-detached brick house using MDF and a hotch-potch of colour-coordinated accessories, the finishing touch is always a row of candles. Candles on the fireplace, candles along the side of the bath, candles on the bedside table. (This generally has me doing a Ronnie Barker and saying “Four candles”)

Is there no electricity in these homes? Can’t they have crystal chandeliers like the rest of us?
