My candles and candle holders are not all the right sizes and my candles all lean. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make them stand straight? Is there anything you can buy to put in the base of the holder that will secure the candle in place?

  1. I have wrapped tapers with a bit of aluminum foil, hidden in the holder so that it doesn’t show outside. You don’t have to worry about it catching fire or anything like that. I have also taken one of those bic sticks to the bottom of the taper and melted it just a bit so that when inserted into the holder, it’s “stuck” in place with itself.

  2. I just drip wax in the hole and stick the candle in it before it cools

  3. You could try this, I do it and it works for me. Light the taper candle and when the wax starts to melt a little bit, tip it over and let the wax drip into the candle holder. Then, quickly place the candle into the holder. The wax in the holder will harden, keeping the taper in place. Hope it works for you!
